In charge of Publicity and Marketing for the largest student-run cinema at Cambridge University. Responsibilities include publicising and organising ticket sales for the weekly screenings and managing the cinema’s social media pages.

Responsible for all communications between the JCR (Student Union) and all Undergraduates of the College. This includes writing the Weekly Bulletin, managing the JCR social media pages and designing graphics to promote College events.

Responsibility to organise talks open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as fellows at the university.

Head of Sponsorship and Publicity for a ball with around 3000 guests. This includes all sponsorship negotiations with external companies, devising PR strategy and managing the social media pages for the ball.

I had the responsibility of planning the musical and non-musical entertainment for a ball of around 3000 guests with a mid six-figure budget. Over 60 unique musical performances were organised across 7 stages, including UK sensation Rudimental. Other entertainment included comedy, a ball pit, LUSH fragrance tent, dodgems, Ferris wheel, silent disco, casino and magic show. I also had to lead and manage a team of 12 on the night.

I was responsible for devising a full marketing strategy for a ball with 700 guests. This also included running the Instagram and scheduling and publicising ticket releases in a way that would optimise ticket sales.

Responsible for publicising and marketing a student-run production on social media as well as setting up press.

I helped to run the company’s social media channels, in particular the Instagram account with 550K followers. I was also tasked with capturing content and innovative video reels to help transform the way the company was utilising social media. I travelled to Edinburgh to capture content during the fringe, and assisted at multiple photoshoots.

I mainly assisted with the launch of an upcoming exhibition, as well as with the editing and publishing process of the catalogue. I was also tasked with organising employee reimbursement bills from the past 6 months to compile the data into a spreadsheet.
