I'm Skylar Davis, and I'm passionate about creating positive change in Kentucky and beyond. As the Digital Organizing Manager at Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, I focus on raising awareness for state-wide campaigns and mobilizing volunteers through the power of social media. I'm also currently serving as the Social Media Manager at Change Today, Change Tomorrow.Advocate for Equality In my professional journey, I've been dedicated to creating a more equitable Kentucky. Through my work in managing social media, I played a vital role in raising national awareness for KY LGBTQ+ legislation, Ban Conversion Therapy KY. I also had the honor of serving as a Digital Organizer for Protect Kentucky Access, contributing to the defeat of Amendment 2 in November 2022. In the spring of 2023, I dedicated my time and skills to digitally fundraise for Kentucky Health Justice Network, and together, we achieved our goal.🩸 Period Y'all Founder 🩸In 2022, I founded "Period Y'all," a nonprofit initiative that provides free menstrual and hygiene products through a pop-up at the Garrard County Food Pantry. I believe in addressing essential needs and supporting the community. Fine Art Photographer Outside of my advocacy work, I am a Fine Art photographer based in Louisville, KY. I take great pride in my craft, and some of my accomplishments include being a Photo of the Day winner on PhotoVogue, having my work published in 8 publications, and exhibiting in 4 states.
