Under Dr. Megan Huchko, collaborated with a small team to increase access to screening and education on HPV and cervical cancer for women in Kenya. Iteratively improving the mobile health app mSaada by analyzing focus group discussion and usability survey data. Assisting in the administration of surveys to evaluate a second mobile health app that included HPV, cervical cancer, and HIV stigma prevention measures, as part of the Elimisha study. Aiding in the organization and planning of a series of one-time healths fair aimed to vaccinate young girls and screen women for HPV in Siaya County. Spent 8 weeks on site in Kisumu, Kenya.

Founding member and current Vice President of the Duke Hawai'i Club, dedicated to fostering a supportive community for students from Hawai'i at Duke University. Actively involved in making Duke feel like home by planning and organizing club bonding events, establishing a peer mentorship program for incoming students, and fundraising for important causes, including relief efforts for the Lahaina fires.

Orientation Leader for Project Waves. Helping ease the transition of incoming Duke freshman. Assisted as a 2023 Program Director, interviewing and selecting incoming staff members and organizing logistics.

Founded the Duke Club Water polo team- completed the rigorous two year application and hearing process to become an official Club Sport. Organized all logistic aspects of club operations including reserving pool time, competing in tournaments, outreach and relationship building with surrounding teams, fundraising efforts, as well as organizing and leading practices.

As the Social Outreach Chair on the Executive team, my primary roles are to publicize events, create graphics, write monthly newsletter emails, run our social media, and reach out to community partners for collaborative opportunities and maintain these partnerships.Previously served as a Freshman Executive Leader, a select freshman chosen to serve on the Executive Team. Assisted in the organization of educational events, symposiums, student activities, service trips, and peer mentorship.

As a Duke University Stanback Fellow, I worked as Democracy Campaign Intern for Greenpeace USA. I served as a contributor to the Dollars Versus Democracy 2023 Report, focusing on the influence of fossil fuel dollars on local politics, particularly Mountain Valley Pipeline companies and state politics. Throughout this, I researched protest suppression legislation, collaborated with Indigenous leaders, and informed proactive protest laws in Minnesota. I also analyzed lobbying records to identify relevant fossil fuel companies, creating a series of one-pagers on ALEC ties to protest suppression and fossil fuels.

Worked as a swim instructor teaching children from ages 3-6 how to swim. Individually worked with children, specializing in teaching comfortability in the water.

Organized semi annual blood drives for our school community. Reached out and motivated students to donate by creating various infographics. Coordinated with Blood Bank of Hawaii staff throughout process to ensure blood donation goals were met, and learned to operate official database. Received Award for largest school donator

Assistant water polo coach for girls 12-14 years old. Helped organize practice, demonstrate drills, serving as a mentor and coach.
