I am currently a student in VCU’s Accelerated Second Degree BSN program. I will graduate in December 2018! Prior to my current degree, I graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. I am working as a care partner on the Same Day Surgery unit at VCU Health. In my current position, I am able to learn and perform a variety of technical skills to provide care and comfort to countless patients. I have also worked as a medical scribe, EMT, and patient care technician. My vast work history has taught me accountability, teamwork, time-management and communication skills. I am a very fast learner and continue to learn more each and every day.
