Skylar Nowka is a current PA-C in the General Surgery department at Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center. She completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Northwestern College in Iowa. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology: Biomedical Sciences degree at Northwest Missouri State University. She is a compassionate provider, whose goal is to provide exceptional care in a culturally sensitive way. She gained patient care experience by working as a certified nursing assistant (CNA), while also gaining communication skills as a Pharmacy Technician. She is a member of American Association of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Surgical Physician Assistants and Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants. She is a well-organized, punctual, continuous learner who puts the care of her patients as her main priority. She enjoys sports, outdoors and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
