Senior Product Designer
In my first round at Hinge Health, I dived deep into the complex world of FDA regulated health devices. As the lead designer for Enso, a non-invasive wearable technology that delivers electrical impulses to relieve pain, I owned the design vision for this ground-breaking product. I led hardware and software design with a talented team of UX researchers, developers, product managers, and industrial designers in not only the product design, but the product development process in a complex, highly-regulated space with the potential to improve thousands of lives.
Co-Founder
Endorphin Apps is the playground for the ideas that I have when I'm not working. With my co-founder, Nick Fedoroff, we focused on our passion for running, creating apps that filled in the gaps left by the major players. We created a weather app for runners called, Runcast, a pace calculator, and a timing app for the mother of all relays, Hood to Coast. While we have focused on other things in the last couple years, we still collaborate on new ideas under the Endorphin brand.
Senior Ux Designer
I led the UX design for Amazon’s Attended Pickup Products. I worked closely with Product and Tech partners to understand product requirements and tech constraints to deliver the best customer experience possible. My work involved defining the working model for our team, the overall vision for the product design, and designing the end to end experience for the entire service across mobile, tablet and web POS devices.I work with a strong UX group with researchers, brand designers, writers, developers and business partners that are committed to making Amazon Earth's first customer-centric company.
Ux Designer
I worked with Nike's Showroom team to digitally enable their sales team effectively showcase Nike's innovative products. My team created interactive experiences that engaged users, highlighted the Nike brand, and captured the decisions made in the sales process.
User Experience Lead
Agency work and enterprise experience combined to help me lead a talented team of UX Designers and CSS Developers to understand complex global merchandising problems and create innovative user experiences. Literally all of my skills came into play with this role. Customer service, creative management, agile methodology, platform technology understanding, product management, and social skills were applied every day. The result was a highly functioning team able to create experiences that redefined the term ‘enterprise application’.
Creative Director
My obsession with social media, design and technology met in my role leading design at Postano. I designed everything at Postano. Marketing, platform UI, data visualization, office signs, every nook and cranny of the brand. I worked with brands like Nike, Apple, Michael Kors, and countless professional sports teams to envision branded social experiences created with the Postano Platform. By applying user experience techniques like design thinking, user scenarios, and beautiful design we are able to create experiences that went beyond ordinary interaction and truly engaged the audience.
Extra
I used skills developed over a lifetime to create the character, Greg on Season 5, Episode 7 of Portlandia. I played Claire's (Carrie Brownstein) boss Greg. While Claire's husband Doug (Fred Armisen) berated me for misplaced guilt of sexism, I used my expert skill of looking disapproving and stern. I nailed it.
User Experience Architect
Designed user experiences for mobile and tablet devices as a member of the SDI group.
Creative Director, Webtrends Design Lab
Webtrends Design Lab was a small team of data visualization specialists tasked with creating tailored visualizations for compelling client data. We dived deep in to a customers business to define their needs and use that information to make dashboards, displays, and apps that provide instant insight. As creative director, I worked directly with clients like Adidas and State Farm to understand their unique visualization needs and form creative design solutions tailored to their needs.
