As a first-generation student, I'm striving to dream big and dare mighty. I do that by lifting the atmosphere around me, wherever my feet land. Fueling my drive to dare mighty is a desire to make a meaningful impact, which has led me to find opportunities that push me into growth. I have done a well-rounded, hands-on internship at Ken Garff, emphasizing recruiting. I created a new job posting template unique to each position with optimizations for the Indeed algorithm and many other improvements that can be expected to lead to a 30% increase in applicants. Every day, I tried to lift the atmosphere around me with an optimistic learning attitude. I was then offered to join them in a more stable position as a recruiter. I have been learning to evaluate candidates, screen them over the phone, and search for the 'Golden Question' that will take me beyond their resume bullet points.While attending school, I was determined to work a job that would still contribute to my development. I decided to apply as a recruiter for the Huntsman School of Business. Through a rigorous application process, I was one of 12 students accepted as an ambassador this year. I will further develop my skills in talent management and acquisition.I aim to be part of a team where I can leverage my experience, continue learning, and make a tangible difference. I'm not looking for just my own success but to help people along the way like others have done for me.
