I am currently a student at FIU pursuing a marketing degree. Over the past couple of years I have learned basic marketing principles in multiple different facets. This includes digital marketing, international marketing, inbound marketing, etc. I have always enjoyed writing and seek an opportunity that allows me to write content that applies the marketing knowledge I have learned. I have also worked in the restaurant industry for over 7 years. I am a server and have learned some valuable skills relating to hospitality. I have honed my communication skills, especially in regards to selling a product directly to a customer. On a daily basis I rely on using certain words and phrasing to entice customers to purchase a certain item over another. The practice I've gotten in this industry, I think, will prove very valuable to a future career in writing in the marketing realm.
