The rig is one of Apache Midland Region’s top performers, excelling in consistent and efficient results in footage per day and costs per foot.Responsibilities Include;-Work with asset teams and create AFE’s, drilling plans and schedules for upcoming wells.-Develop and design drilling programs for my assigned rig including casing, BHA, drilling fluids, cement, drill bits, and directional components.-Closely monitor the project’s execution & capital expenditure from rig move in to rig release.-Utilize my field drilling experience to coordinate w/ drilling supervisors on the rig to assist in operational decisions and optimization.-Represent and promote Apache Corporation's Aim for Zero safety program. Monitor rig contractors & service companies’ safety culture and performance. -Utilize data analytics available from Apache’s Drilling Intelligence Guide to optimize drilling practices and performance.-Educate & promote the use of MSE to drilling supervisors and create drilling maps to optimize drilling parameters while drilling interbedded formations.-Coordinate and maintain working relationships with service company representatives to constantly seek improvements in drilling technologies and practices. Continuously evaluate their performance.-Review and submit monthly accruals for AFE’s under my rig line.
