I was one of two founding technicians that joined MHC when it transitioned from a one-engineer design consultancy to a production company. My main value-add was my wide-ranging set of skills that allowed me to help build industrial-quality production processes from the ground up for a range of novel mmWave components. I am the sole CAD designer for the company, which has required an understanding of both the electrical and mechanical properties of our product, as well as an in-depth understanding of machining limitations.During my time at MHC, the company has grown from two offices to an entire building floor, and from two engineers and two technicians to ten employees. MHC sells internationally to customers who need the highest performing components on the market.

Production: Assembled industry-leading high-frequency components. Skilled in microscopic assembly and quality assurance. Designed proprietary assembly process, in-house quality system for assembled components, process for testing devices on Keysight PNA and VDI extenders.CAD: Modeled and drafted entire product lineup. Acted as Document and Data Control Coordinator for all internal and external technical drawings, including ECN Log. Developed STEP file database of component configurations to provide to customers. Learned and incorporated NASTRAN thermal modeling of devices for NASA SBIR Contract.R&D: Worked directly with customers to design custom solutions. Oversaw design modifications including internal screw access for small components, reducing the device footprint, designing for extreme temperatures, and designing devices in custom waveguide bands. Due to condensed timelines, there was no opportunity to prototype any custom devices. This meant that my virtual models had to be designed with an understanding of thermal and mechanical stresses so that no reworks were necessary. Marketing: Established product photography standard. Coordinated with graphic design artist to create content for booths at physical and virtual multi-national conventions. Handled transport of convention materials to and from conventions. Developed keyword and competitor tracking, maintained website and social media analytics. Initiated company's social media presence and managed upkeep including creation, design, and execution of social media and email blasts. Organically grew small business LinkedIn page to 800+ followers in two years. Facilities/IT: Installed site-wide vacuum and compressed air systems, maintained existing site equipment, and continually designed improvements and modifications to streamline workflow. Upkept IT infrastructure, including networking and NAS management. Oversaw handoff to external IT firm.

Worked with engineers to determine required updates for 3D models and drawings, then implemented updates while working within ITAR and ISO 9001:2008 regulations. Managed extensive file and database systems including >15,000 item database spanning entire manufacturing inventory. Assisted in research for development of new product line. Assisted in continuing product line testing, as well as developing testing for new units. Frequently utilized DBA, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Access, and Word.IT: Installed new VOIP phone system, server, and cell phone repeater. This included additional routing of a collection of new phone lines across a 50,000 sq. ft. building. Continued troubleshooting and rewiring of legacy phone and server systems. Installed technical software across company network. Co-management of company-wide folder permissions and security. Rewiring of phoneline-driven building audio systems.Facilities Management: Organized maintenance, upkeep, and repair of industrial and residential HVAC units. Managed hazardous weather clearance. Personally maintained all company grounds including mowing, trimming, and brush clearing. Managed and repaired mobile and stationary equipment. Oversaw economic lighting update and replacements, as well as painting, demolition, and reorganization of offices. Coordinated aspects of installing large CNC machines, including electrical wiring, pressurized air, scans of building foundation, and installation of foundation support pylons.
