I found my first opportunity in the Cannabis Industry in early 2014. I was bud-tending with a local Medical/Recreational dispensary in Downtown Denver that frequented 200-300 visitors a day. After being promoted to manager my primary focus diverted to finding all the best products to fit the needs of all of our patients and customers. Working with multiple vendors and speaking with our customers I cycled in new products as the industry grew based on their changing needs. After 2 years on the Retail side, I took a trimming position within a growing company I very was interested in. This position lead to amazing opportunities in a company which now operates 20+ dispensaries in just Colorado. Trimming lead to cone production, which lead to packaging, which lead to a position with the Cure Team Department. That position provided me the experience obtain title of Horticulture Technician/Bay Supervisor. After 5 years as a Horticulture Tech, due to a family emergency I had to relocate to my home state of Illinois. I quickly made my way into Illinois Industry working with CuraLeaf! I am hoping soon to make my way back into Cultivation but am enjoying being back in Illinois for now!
