I am a forecasting analyst at TESLA Inc. To clarify, I don’t work at THAT Tesla. I work for an electricity load forecasting company, and we are probably unsuited to give directions to the nearest charging station.My main responsibility at TESLA is statistical model creation and maintenance. This includes data processing and feature selection. Our forecasts assist various clients with electricity generation, planning, and purchasing decisions. Along with the electricity forecasting models, I work on a price forecasting project using Python. The project involves testing different machine learning algorithms to predict electricity price and spikes. I enjoy coding in Python, because I love solving problems and increasing efficiency. I find it rewarding when my ideas finally come to fruition. Outside of work, you can find me spending time with my crazy (yet adorable) dog or at the gym playing squash.
