Jay Slagle is a Senior Advisor at Rather & Kittrell who works with families to help them make smart decisions with their money. Jay works with his team and professional network to help clients address their five biggest concerns: preserving their wealth, mitigating taxes, taking care of their heirs, protecting assets, and maximizing the impact of charitable gifts.Jay joined Rather & Kittrell in 2012 serves a variety of successful families. They work with Jay to:-Develop and implement a comprehensive wealth management plan to help them achieve their goals.-Have an objective voice helping them make good decisions during uncertain times.-Obtain an independent second opinion from a top advisor in their community.Prior to joining Rather & Kittrell, Jay was a member of the Knoxville Fellows Program, a residential leadership development program that provides the opportunity to serve the community as well as grow spiritually and professionally. During this 10 month program, Jay interned with a local property management company while engaging in seminary course work and met weekly with community leaders. After the Fellows Program, Jay pursued his MBA at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he concentrated in finance with additional coursework in entrepreneurship and innovation.
