Switchback has grown to be a highly effective organisation with eight staff, £400K turnover, a strong reputation in the field and most importantly, a track record of delivering meaningful, real impact for its beneficiaries - young adult offenders - and thereby reducing reoffending rates and bringing profound change into their families and communities. As the organisation grew, my role shifted and developed to lead on:• Ensuring financial stability through fundraising and financial management• Strategic leadership and governance• Safeguarding organisational assets including HR, premises, data and facilitiesAchievements include:Raised c£2million between 2008 and 2015 from trusts, individuals and companies.Created a financial stability that allowed the turnover to increase year-on-year. Developed a bespoke monitoring and evaluation system that captures multi-faceted change. Established a major donor programme and embedded it within the national fundraising team.Created stewardship system, using Raisers Edge, to grow lifetime value of regular and high-net worth individual donors.Developed 'asks' and tax efficiency information that resulted donations of c£1million (over five years) from handful of high-net worth individuals.

Coordinated and directed Fairbridge's partnership with Royal Bank of Scotland, which included a financial support package to the value of £1.386m funding 42 projects across the UK.Collaborated with RBS to develop strategy and deliver an employee involvement scheme for 300,000 RBS employees across 36 businesses.

Managed a small team of staff and volunteers delivering a programme of activities for disengaged young people.Responsible for team centre premises, budget and resources. Raised funds (c£50,000 pa) from local councils and managed contracts and grants for larger funds. Developed productive relationships with local community and network of partners.
