Founder of Laughter Yoga Richmond, I establish laughter yoga activity programs in substance abuse treatment and recovery centers. Our science-based approach supports multiple paths to successful treatment, emphasizes self-empowerment and self-reliance and is responsible for helping participants with substance addictions (alcohol and other drugs) and activity addictions (behaviors like sex, relationships, spending, gambling, eating, exercise, and self-injury) move toward more satisfying lives.Over the last decade, I’ve produced and published my work on stage, in books and on television. As a speaker, I’ve been featured at: TEDx, The International Storytelling Center, the Oral History Performance Conference, The National Storytelling Festival, and Pete Seeger’s Clearwater Festival.Globally-recognized laughter ambassador.
