BP – Mad Dog Phase 2 Project (MDP2), Spar Hull & Mooring, Houston, TX and Pori, FinlandResponsible for BP Engineering Assurance activities during the Workshop Engineering and construction of the Big Dog (MDP2) Spar Hull & Mooring at the Technip Offshore yard in Pori, Finland. The primary function during the Workshop Engineering phase was to verify the proper design verification and engineering quality processes are implemented by the contractor/sub-contractors and that Workshop Engineering documentation complies with the design inputs, BP specifications and industry standards. Other responsibilities included the implementation of the joint QAQC/Engineering Assessment Program, as well as the oversight of the contractor's 3D Model Assurance and the As-Built documentation development process.

Provided technical consultancy on the scope, nature, and application of Russian regulatory and statutory requirements for equipment and plant certification and approvals. Reviewed engineering design and vendor documentation for regulatory compliance. Managed and coordinated document submissions to regulatory authorities required to obtain permits to operate. Advised project engineering and procurement team on regulatory requirements including participation in vendor kick-off and clarification meetings.
