Slavena is a data science analyst who enjoys analysing big data sets and supporting clients in data-driven optimisation in the IT, Economics and Healthcare departments. During her online learning path for Data Scientist, she learnt the skills of mastering big data though Alteryx, Qlik, PowerBI/Tableau, Hadoop, SQL, SPSS, KNIME, R, SAS, SAP BO, STATA, Python among others.Slavena’ s healthcare journey started as an intern in the Healthcare and Life Sciences Department as part of her Master Dissertation project on the Theatre Scheduling Model in 2021. Her primary goal was to accommodate more elective patients in an NHS Trust during a post-COVID-19 period by generating an optimized theatre schedule. Slavena is set to start a MSc degree in Cancer Genomics and Data Science in September with Queen Mary University of London showing her passion for healthcare analytics and her desire to improve the healthcare system in UK. Slavena is ambitious in becoming a certified expert after taking Power BI Data Analyst PL-300 and Azure Data Engineer DP-203 exams which are the main analytics tools she is working with. Slavena started her certification towards Prince2 Foundation for Project Management and Better Business Case Foundation Training.
