PetSmart pet training is a "reward based" training program. I teach each pet and pet parent the basic cues in Puppy/Beginner class up to the Advanced class. I also teach a fun Tricks class for dogs. As Area Pet Trainer I am responsible for interviewing potential pet trainers. Once that candidate has been selected I provide coaching and instruction that is required by the Accreditation process.

Work in a dual role - one as a pet training instructor and a guest service associate. I successfully completed the Pet Training Instructor Accreditation program. As a Pet Trainer, I am responsible for achieving Pet Training sales plans through extensive Pet Parent interaction and active selling. I co-teach the audit material in training conferences. The extensive state to state travel in this position is enjoyable as well as interfacing with the personnel of the many properties.
