I started my adventure with the IT world as a frontend developer, now I specialize only in backend.Previously, I worked with a few smaller companies that do not play a key role in my portfolio.Currently, as a Software Engineer, I work on one of the largest IT projects in the world, Disney+.The most fascinating adventure of my life began almost eight years ago when I joined The Capitals - a small Dutch company based in Amsterdam, where bicycles are as important as semicolons in the code of Java programmers ^^Our team of over a dozen people was a harmonious group of crazy individuals, full of passion for programming and love for craft beer. Our code review debates seemed endless.Within a few years, we managed to reach the top together - it was thanks to us that the Disney+ platform was created, forever inscribed in the history of the world and the Internet.It was fascinating to be part of it all from the very beginning.Here I met some of the world's most talented specialists in their fields, from whom I could learn programming, discussion, conflict resolution, knowledge transfer and project management.Who knows, maybe one day there will be a film about this small Dutch company on Netflix? ^^As a software engineer, I have quite a lot of knowledge about big data, application scaling, microservices and AWS services.My favorite programming language is Python. I also have experience in developing applications using the Kotlin language.Databases: Elasticsearch, Redis, DynamoDB, MongoDB.I value teamwork in which difficult decisions are made on the basis of conclusions drawn from joint discussions on a given problem or task to be solved.High-quality code is covered by unit tests, its business logic is tested using integration tests.
