Sean has more than 17 years of experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and documentation in major multi-discipline rail and civil infrastructure projects across QLD, NSW and SA and Internationally in New Zealand and Canada. He has a wide range of structures experience including rail, road, pedestrian and cable stayed, steel box and Arch bridges. TBM segmental lined tunnels, cut and cover and mined tunnels, retaining walls, noise barriers, drainage structures, gantries, cantilever structures for railway overhead line equipment and rail depots.Sean’s main roles on projects involve BIM Manager, BIM Coordinator, Revit Model Manager & Lead Structural Modeller and Design Technician.Sean has developed numerous automation tools for modelling complex linear structures for Bridges (road, rail and cable stayed), TBM and cut and cover tunnels and retaining walls. He has also developed automation tools for road lighting and ITS on infrastructure projects and developed other day to day tools for structures to assist with increasing modelling speed and accuracy.Sean is also responsible for developing the national openBIM Industry Foundation Class (IFC) interoperability standards for GHD between Revit and 12d and other software.Sean is Global Revit Bridge Lead for GHD, a core team member of the SEQLD Lead BIM Coordinators group as a representative of the Bridges service group and apart of GHD’s Revit development team.
