Ux/Ui Designer
As a UX/UI designer at trivago I was in charge of conceptualise and design different internal and external websites for trivago. This included activities such as target group analysis, facilitating ideation workshops, wireframing, prototyping, visual quality check together with developers, user testing and user tests analysis. Designing products for a company such as trivago implies creating scalable products in terms of features and content change as trivago products are available in multiple languages. Designing for users from all around the world implies adhering to globalisation guidelines and accessibility standards, RTL and LTR language compatibility for every device and browser. I was responsible for maintaining and evolving the quality, usability and accessibility of UI components from trivago’s design system. Documenting the UI components specifications and offering support for other designers and developers regarding the digital style guide and design system was also part of my responsibility. As different projects required front end support, my web development experience helped me to develop full Zendesk themes from scratch and manage the CMS, implement different analytics and tracking tools, develop HTML email templates, develop CSS animations and customise of different internal tools. I was also responsible for researching possible improvements of the processes for working with the design system which included evaluating new softwares, creating and maintaining the UI toolkit for Sketch, development of a Sketch plugin. My expertise in SVG optimisation made me responsible for creating and optimising new icons and for the technical quality assurance of different logos, ensuring the best performance on the web.

After finishing the one year mandate, thanks to the huge support of my colleagues and the work done by my predecessors, I managed to transition the Marketing Department of AIESEC AAU to my successor as a department more self sustainable from the point of view of promotional materials, increased brand awareness among students, more customer centric services and analysis methods as well as a solid and well thought future master plan for development.

The project was about collaborating with 11 NGO's and redesign their brand identities and their marketing strategies.
