I am the co-founder and CEO at Windworks, a cleantech venture that aims to provide the first economically viable commercial-scale wind turbine for onsite power production. Main applications include factory plants, data centres, district heating, water treatment plants or farms looking for a clean and affordable power generation solution in the 100kW range. My entrepreneurial journey is fueled by a commitment to advancing the UN's sustainable development goals. I am passionate about acquiring the tools, knowledge, and methods necessary to create the energy systems of tomorrow. Windworks was founded on the belief that it can deliver affordable, clean energy, foster sustainable communities, and reduce inequalities by enhancing energy security.Let’s join forces to drive innovation in wind energy. Feel free to connect and explore collaboration opportunities!Cover photo by Alexandros Marago

Doctoral StudentEpfl (École Polytechnique Fédérale De Lausanne) Jun 2018 - PresentLausanne Area, SwitzerlandWorking within the SNSF funded project "Dynamic stall management for improving aerodynamic robustness of H-type wind turbines (smart-H)". The position aims at experimentally investigating the development of dynamic stall on model vertical axis wind turbines, including the effect of rotor internal and external flow disturbances. The objective is to improve prediction capabilities of blade loading, aerodynamic robustness, and performance. -

Co-Founder | Director Of ServicesCommunitech London Dec 2016 - Mar 2020London, England, United KingdomCo‑directed a charitable organisation as director of services, quality and continuous improvement. CommuniTech aimed at offering support with digital devices to those who lack essential technology skills, as well as promoting sustainable communities and intergenerational exchange. Activity highlights from the Board of Directors:• Organised over 100 Tech & Tea events, featuring themed conversations and workshops on topics ranging from basic computer skills to advanced use of smartphones. Events achieved a net promoter score of 9.7 and gathered up to 40 people in a single session.• Raised over £10,000, mostly from the Wandsworth Council and Tesco, for the establishment of Tech & Tea bi‑monthly events.• Scaled service from one to three locations, hired and managed three event organisers, and reached over 100 users and 20 volunteers. -
Mechanical EngineerProheat Systems Limited Jul 2017 - May 2018London, United KingdomJoined as a Research & Development mechanical engineer, to raise the company's profile as indirect heating experts by composing scientifically rigorous journal and technical magazine articles.- ProHeat Systems is an energy award-winning start-up company, the first dedicated to the decarbonisation of UK's gas distribution network.- Co-author and investigator of multiple research papers demonstrating the improved performance of the Immersion Tube Thermosyphon Heater, ProHeat's signature product. First publication in Elsevier's Energy Reports attached.- Conducted heat studies, quantifying losses are and defining functional units for performance comparison with other technologies established on the market. -
Summer InternshipCern Jun 2015 - Jul 2015Région De Genève, SuisseI was in charge of the mechanical characterisation of a novel material for CERN (3D C/C). My activities at CERN involved the following:• Supervising the manufacturing procedure of the test specimens.• Attending laboratory experimentations (Destructive, non-destructive and thermal), performing NDTs in the CERN laboratories and reporting the results to my section.• Organising off-site experimentation for soon to be radioactive parts with independent companies.I was expected to autonomously be in contact with CERN technicians and engineers to drive the characterisation of 3D C/C. As a side project, I was also involved in the design process of a 16 motorised axis collimator – in charge of translational motion mechanism - for the Booster (CERN’S smallest accelerator).
