The job of a Navy Career Counselor Coordinator is to help more than 200 sailors into advancing their careers while providing great customer service. Fellow sailors are helped through the:- Update, retrieve, or adding of any information needed through Navy databases- Update records- Create documents and letters for retirement, advancement, and more- Maintain up to date knowledge with any changes in the Navy (procedures, policies, etc) that may affect the sailor in their advancementIn charge of inputting results of Physical Readiness Tests into a database, and provide graphical data for the Commander to know the percentage of sailors that passed, failed, or did not take the Physical Readiness Test.

-Communicate with internal and/or external business partners and vendors to obtain information and documentation needed to support business needs.-Provide analytical, research, and technical data support for regulatory/business-oriented processes for Encounter Data Operations.-Conducts business analysis and recommends technical alternative solutions to management as to course of action that best meets the organization's goals.-Research and document data requirements for regulatory data submissions. -Accountable for the analysis of encounter file and data requirements, the research and facilitation of error correction and file resubmission, and the development of file and data quality improvement solutions to maintain service levels for encounter reporting.-Review, research, investigate and correct encounter issues through data and process analysis.-Perform technical analysis and data mining for encounter data reporting requests from internal and external customers.-Communicate with internal and external business partners and vendors to obtain information and provide status updates on deliverables.

Orlando, Florida

-Responsible for creating ad-hoc data reports requested by clients (using MS SQL server, Excel).-Create reports using SSRS.-Research, analyze, and report claim data to the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) while ensuring data integrity and decreasing errors.-Use SQL queries to manipulate data when needed.-Responsible for Month End Process ensuring all claims and funds balance.-Create more than 20 Month End Reports for clients on a timely manner.-Work with users and clients to ensure proper data in the system facilitate efficient job functions by users.-Maintain, utilize, and distribute all Track-It requests from the user community to the IT administrator, programmers, and network technicians for computer issues and job requests to be handled by the IT department.-Provide application and technical support and assistance to all PC users.-Perform daily check processing and printing.-Responsible for daily submission of Positive Pay files.-Collaborate with developers, programmers, analysts and designers in conceptualizing, developing, and testing of new software programs and applications.

As a Culinary Specialist in the US Navy (active), I was part of a highly skilled culinary group where meals had to be prepared for over 5,000 crew members on board the USS Kitty Hawk (06 - 08).
