Directed New York's largest WIC Supplemental Food Program, serving nearly 50,000 clients, 150 staff, and a budget of $9.5M, annually (2010-2013).Served as Deputy Director of Public Health Programs. In that role, I oversaw the administration of a variety of public health programs, including Women, Infants, and Children supplemental food programs, Nutrition Outreach Education Program, public health insurance enrollment, Sudden Infant Death Risk Reduction and Counseling, as well as WIC Vendor Management (2006-2010)Facilitated communication between projects, and centralized support services and acts as liaison with all agencies that fund assigned projects and programs.Provided technical assistance on programming, work plans and budgets to project staff and prepare funding applications and proposals.Monitored the progress of assigned projects toward stated goals and maintain responsibility for contract deliverables such as reports and work plans.
