Stacey L. Flanagan is the Director of The City of Jersey City’s award winning Department of Health and Human Services.Prior to joining the Fulop Administration, Flanagan was the Director of Neighborhood WIC at Public Health Solutions. As part of her position, she worked to bring innovative programming to the organization's Women, Infants, and Children supplemental food program (WIC) and the WIC Vendor Management Agency. In addition, Flanagan is currently a Part-time Faculty Member at Saint Peter’s University MPA Program. She has nearly 20+ yrs of University teaching experience as an adjunct for New Jersey City University, Touro College and the Graduate Program for International Affairs @ The New School. Flanagan's work history includes program management and design at Share Our Strength, The Leader to Leader Institute (formerly the Peter F. Drucker Foundation for Nonprofit Management) and Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City.Flanagan served her country a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer. She worked with the National Development Corporation of Costa Rica to provide training and technical assistance to local municipalities, develop small enterprise businesses with women, and plan programs supporting alternative education to adults. Flanagan graduated Michigan State University with a BA in Political Science, and holds an MS in Nonprofit Management from Milano the New School for Urban Policy and Management.
