As part of her position, she worked to bring innovative programming to the organization's Women, Infants, and Children supplemental food program (WIC) and the WIC Vendor Management Agency. In addition, Flanagan is currently a Part-time Faculty Member at Saint Peter’s University MPA Program. She has nearly 20+ yrs of University teaching experience as an adjunct for New Jersey City University, Touro College and the Graduate Program for International Affairs @ The New School. Flanagan's work history includes program management and design at Share Our Strength, The Leader to Leader Institute (formerly the Peter F. Drucker Foundation for Nonprofit Management) and Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City.Flanagan served her country a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer.
