I am passionately curious, a lover of the written word, and an intuitive communicator.Throughout my career, I have worked in various industries such as sports and entertainment, automotive marketing, brick-and-mortar and e-commerce retail, and nonprofits. No matter the title or scope of work, I have consistently brought to the table a strong work ethic, innovative mindset, and a scrupulous eye for detail.While contracted with Art Van Furniture, I was instrumental in creating content for ArtVan.com, along with implementing a strategy to develop their social media presence on Facebook and Twitter. In less than two years, each account boasted over 2,000 fans and followers. I also teamed with the Vice President of Brand Management and Store Environment to create the company’s first-ever brand identity book, used exclusively by executive management team members. My collaboration with Advertising, Visual Merchandising, and Buying teams resulted in seven seasonal catalogs of over 80 pages. My ads have appeared in "Ambassador," "HOUR Detroit," "Metro Parent Magazine," and "StyleLine Magazine."With wit or warmth I can expertly convey the right voice for products and services, advertising/marketing campaigns, brand messaging, or website content. My strengths include writing, proofing, AP Style, concept creation and execution, and problem-solving. I am always open to learning new skills that challenge and sharpen me as a writer.
