Marine engineer on board Cotunav vessels : ro-ro and car ferry ships.- Contribute to the security of personnel, pollution prevention and crisis management in engine room.- Ensure compliance of ships with installations regulations and customer specifications.- To ensure the return to service of equipment and facilities on board, and conduct repairsship in case of damage, failures..- Monitor and anticipate replenishment of spare parts.- Organize, coordinate and control the technical interventions carried out by subcontractors.

• Badr marine signed contract with Arab Potash Co to start and maintain two cutter suction dredgers in the Dead Sea.• My mission was the starting of both dredgers RUM and PETRA according the contract without delay.• Familiarization with both dredgers: FO, FW, LO, cooling, hydraulic systems….• Recruiting new engineers for the watch keeping without experience in dredging. • Prepare and train the staff to take the dredgers control: study all the systems onboard and specially the hydraulic ( cutter motor, side winches, anchors hoisting, anchors boom, spuds movement, spud carrier and the ladder winch are hydraulically maneuvered ) • Organize the shift change for the crew, create the shifts schedule,• Test all the machinery, create start / stop procedures for both dredgers and especially for every equipment, adjust hydraulic pressures, flows, and According Rexroth recommendations.• Check all used lubricating oils, change and fill the appropriate oil. • Create new daily, weekly, monthly reports and engine room log books.• Start to create a planned maintenance and spare parts data base following the manufactures manuals: no history found for the dredgers equipments.• Intervene in case of a major failure.• Ensure to work under high safety level.• Follow MARPOL and SOLAS regulation.• Mission done in time without delay.

 Manage a power plant in an oil field: Role:• Follow the best running conditions of three diesel engines (MAN V18 32/40 8640 KW) controlled by DCS.• Watch the MAN engines auxiliaries’ parameters (pumps, compressors, filters, coolers, heaters,).• Receive all the reports directly from the control room senior operators, (daily, weekly reports and emergency situations...)• Follow the preventive maintenance program to maintain the equipments before breakdowns occur. (All the mechanical works are done by the plant team without exception).• In charge of the works in MAN workshop: • Troubleshooting.• Commissioning.• Manage the stock of the spare parts for all the mechanical equipment.• Re-Create a new data base of spare parts and preventive maintenance for all the mechanical equipment of the power plant according drawings, P&IDs and manufacture instructions. • Organize the power plant team works.• Prepare daily technical report of the plant.• Ensure to work under a high safety level. The equipments of the plant:• 3 * MAN 18V 32/40 8.64 MW,• ABB alternators 6.6 KV/10,53 MVA• MAN engines auxiliaries.

 Marine engineer in heavy duty cutter suction dredgers: Role: • Controlling the operation of the dredger.• Startups, commissioning, overhauls, troubleshooting, corrective and preventive maintenance of all equipment onboard.• Organize the team works and care for persons on board.• Responsible of the technical delays during dredging.• Prepare technical daily report of the dredger.• Replace the chief engineer in his absence.Equipments on board:• 4 stroke engines, • Dredge centrifugal pumps ( King-sized), • Compressors, • Electricity, • Hydraulic, • Pneumatic, • Separators, • Air condition….PROMOTED FROM 3RD TO 2st ENGINEER IN 2011

 In charge of maintenance of ships in Gabes Marine Tankers (three chemical tankers: ASDRUBAL, HANNIBAL II and LADY JASMINE)Role:• Startups, overhauling, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance of all tankers equipments: main propulsion engine, fuel/diesel generators, steam boilers, compressors, pumps, fans, air condition, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, fuel/oil separators.• Control the main propulsion, power generation and all the tanker machineries during the watch.• Spare parts management.• Test the safety equipment inspections• Ensure to keep the ship above a good maintenance level.
