ÅKP is a regional hub for innovation, business development and social development. Among other things, ÅKP facilitates one of Norway’s most complete incubator systems, the cluster programmes BLUE Maritime Cluster (Global Center of Expertise) and BLUE Legasea, as well as several other national and international projects. As CFO I had the financial management responsibility for the cluster programmes. I also had financial responsibility concerning the incubator system, including the financial management of the «HoppID.no-offices» of 7 municipalities in Møre og Romsdal, and 3 industrial development funds. The sports team focuses on children's sports in football and volleyball, and has an A-team and an old-boys team in football for men. In addition, Giske IL focuses on engaging and inclusive social meeting places for the island's residents and the local community surrounding the island.

Letsip® has developed products with focus on the difficulties of people with Downs syndrome, cerebral palsy, general hypotonia, stroke/trauma, Parkinson’s disease, muscular sclerosis, debilitations, uneven developments or reduced sensory function. Letsip® products can also suit children with difficulties articulating, where the child doesn´t benefit from regular articulation training. This includes children with dyspraxia, sensory challenges and fronting/backing issues. Letsip® utensils can be an aid in the work with basic speech requirements.Letsip’s products are based on general research on the topics of motor learning, sensory stimulation, strength and mobility training.

The Pension Fund’s purpose is to provide retirement pension and disability pension to the members, spouses of members and children of members. The Pension Fund had about 250 active members, about 250 pensioners, and total assets amounted to approx. MNOK 470 at end 2015.
