With a background in biology, S. Litvinov has over 60 peer-reviewed publications (i10 citation index= 43, with over 7000 citations), focusing notably on epithelial cell biology, alongside contributions to immunology and cancer biology fields. Having mentored 4 PhD graduates, he has secured numerous grants from entities like the Dutch Cancer Fund and holds authorship of 3 published and 8 pending patents.Transitioning to the biotech industry in 2001, he founded PickCell Laboratories BV (2001-2011). In 2005, he established Boost Technologies BV, receiving substantial support (over Eur 2.6 million) from the Dutch Ministry of Economics to pioneer a new generation of vaccine adjuvants.
