I was privileged to have launched the first animation house in Qatar, LimeLight Productions. At LimeLight, we were passionate about bringing innovative, high-quality animation to regional audiences. We secured a major project with Qatar Foundation and The Aeronautical College in Doha, which combined 3D animation and live filming. Although this was meant to be our showpiece, we could not release it to the public due to unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately, after a year of operation, LimeLight Productions went bankrupt. Despite this setback, I am proud of our hard work and dedication to creating a groundbreaking animation house that brought new perspectives to the region.

Working alongside the owner and editor, I ran the office, hired out camera gear, and booked crews for shoots. Through my dedication and hard work, we quickly expanded, and we eventually moved to the West Bay area, where I took on a leadership role in running the operations. Thanks to my efforts and expertise, Resolution grew and established itself as a key player in the industry.

As a freelancer, I worked in Injest, where I was responsible for recording all satellite feeds worldwide. I then played these feeds out to news producers, who edited them for inclusion in news broadcasts. Through my hard work and technical skill, I helped ensure that accurate and timely news was delivered to audiences across various platforms.

As a Senior Transmission Controller at Sky, I played a key role in managing the organization's fully automated transmission suite. Using the latest technology, including Flexicart, I ensured the smooth operation of various channels, including Sky Sports, Sky News, and other Sky channels. Through my technical expertise and attention to detail, I helped deliver high-quality content to nationwide viewers.

I joined ITV Meridian in Southampton, where I played a crucial role in transmitting content to audiences in the South of England. Initially, I worked with a semi-automated transmission desk, managing live voiceovers and tape playback. As my experience and expertise grew, I helped transition the organization to a fully automated digital transmission suite. Through my dedication and commitment, I ensured the efficient delivery of high-quality programming to viewers across the region.

Joined as a Transmission Controller and quickly became involved in implementing the first automated digital transmission suite. Through my dedication and hard work, I was promoted to Transmission Supervisor within a year and a half. In this role, I led a team of six Transmission Controllers, overseeing the smooth operation of our transmission systems and ensuring timely content delivery to our audiences.

As a Head End Engineer at Birmingham Cable, I managed and maintained all satellite feeds entering the facility. I oversaw the recording and rescheduling of various programs, ensuring seamless playback at later times. Additionally, I played a key role in setting up the first ad-insertion edit suite, further enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

As a Project Engineer for Satellite Up-link vehicles, my role involved designing, developing, and testing satellite up-link vehicles used by leading organizations in the UK, Japan, Sweden, Austria, and Italy. During the advent of satellite up-links in the UK, I played a crucial role in building vehicles for BAe, BBC, and other leading organizations. My work involved designing and testing various components of the vehicles, including antenna systems, RF equipment, and other critical systems. I worked closely with my team to ensure that the vehicles were built to the highest standards of quality and reliability and could withstand the demanding requirements of satellite up-link operations. Overall, my project engineer role for Satellite Up-link vehicles required high technical expertise, attention to detail, and collaboration with customers and team members to deliver cutting-edge solutions for the satellite up-link industry.

As a Project Engineer responsible for the hands-on implementation of analog and digital media projects at Quantel Systems, I would design, develop, and implement solutions for TV companies using Quantel's digital production technology. I had a strong understanding of both analog and digital media technologies, as well as experience in project management and implementation. My role required me to work closely with customers to understand their needs and requirements and integrate Quantel's products with other hardware and software platforms to create an efficient production workflow. Overall, my role was exciting and challenging, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge technology solutions for some of the world's leading TV companies.
