Stephanie Martin is a Librarian at Lincoln Library. Colleagues describe her as "You rarely come across standout talent like Stephanie. I worked with Stephanie as Library Director of the Lincoln Library, and she was a Sangamon Valley Collection Librarian. Helpful, customer-service-focused, inclusive, and innovative are the traits that most accurately describe Stephanie. She always had new, creative, and forward-thinking ideas to share local history and preserve today's events for future generations. She is dedicated to the library and the community at large, as she is also consistently active in the community, making impacts with her leadership in multiple organizations throughout the community, particularly but not limited to those with a historical focus. She is passionate and dedicated to collecting and sharing local history. I'm grateful to have her in the profession today, and she will undoubtedly continue to impact the library profession and the Springfield community for years to come. "
