Cybertips is Bermuda’s source of information on internet safety, brought to you by the Ministry of Economic Development and Department of ICT Policy and Innovation. Our aim is to provide practical tips, resources and contact information to help parents, children and educators to use the Internet safely and be on guard against online predators and other inappropriate online content.

In my capacity as E-Commerce Administrator I provide the department with human resources, administrative and accounting support inclusive of budget preparation, year end processes, payroll and employee information systems. I manage the Digital Certificate program and liaise with internal and external partners to organize and execute e-commerce and e-business programs and initiatives in support of the departmentalobjectives.I also Manage and maintain the department’s social media presence and am a Cybertips.bm workshop facilitator and digital citizenship expert which involves liaising with the Bermuda Police Service, conducting research and the monitoring of local and international trends to produce up-to-date parent, educator ,senior and student tip sheets and reports.I regularly gather data from relevant sources including the Government and private sector agencies to improve the quality of programs offered by the department and the ebusiness product.A fascinating aspect of my job is my participation in the development and implementation of Government policy and legislation.

I provide youth training in beginner programming skills, create and prepare unique and customized lesson plans.

The Hive provides Digital Marketing and Event Management Services to startups and small companies in Bermuda. We are a multi-discipline cooperative work-space that encourages client and community involvement to include their perspective in knowledge development, idea generation and product development for small and startup businesses through strategy lead design and digital communication.We are passionate about working with small businesses and independent professionals by understanding their unique needs and assisting them in getting their business or idea to the next level by providing creative, administrative, accounting and social solutions they may not have the time or skills to do themselves. We will also, in the near future, be incorporating workshops and business related courses for our clients in conjunction with our industry partners.Some of our services include: Social Media Management, Graphic Design, Website Management, Event Management, Photography and more!

I have had the opportunity to plan and execute two Startup Weekends here in Bermuda. StartUp Weekend is a globally recognized, non-profit, community-building event that is open to entrepreneurs of different backgrounds, including software developers, marketers, designers and other enthusiasts. It is a technology-focused, three-day frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, innovation and market validation. Within just 54 hours, participants will pitch ideas, form teams and develop business ideas into a solid business plan for a company or project. It was a fantastic experience coordinating, organizing and experiencing the innovation and creative space that these events inspire. Working with local businesses and already established entrepreneurs we were given the opportunity to make each voice in the creative and entrepreneurial space hear and relevant.

In my capacity as charity President is was responsible for ensuring that the Board of Directors and its members were aware of and fulfilled their governance responsibilities; complied with applicable laws and bylaws and conducted board business effectively and efficiently;including fundraising.

In my capacity of Administrative Assistant, I responded to all incoming queries, coordinated workflow, monitored and managed the department budget and filing system. I liaised with local & overseas partners to ensure lawful licensing of local tourist properties.

I provided administrative, accounting and human resource support and setup for the new Business Development Unit as well as physical setup of the new office (Temporary Support)
