Inclusionary Housing Program Manager
CurrentSupports the implementation of the city’s policies around inclusionary housing, annexation, and other associated housing and human services programs. Reviews all new residential development applications and applies city affordability requirements including Inclusionary Housing, which requires 25% of all new residential development contribute to the provision of affordable housing. Act as a key negotiator to obtain affordable housing benefit consistent with Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan annexation goals. • Reviews development site and technical plans to implement Inclusionary Housing regulations and annexation affordable housing community benefit and provide technical assistance to residential developers regarding those requirements to help them find the best solution for assisting the city to meet our affordable housing goals. • Coordinates closely within Housing and Human Services as well as Planning and Development Services and the City Attorney’s office. • Manages and update internal and external records, materials, dashboards, and the Inclusionary Housing web site. • Updates and implements program metrics such as cash-in-lieu, affordable unit pricing, tax and demolition waivers and similar program elements. • Develops, drafts, and executes covenants, contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. • Assists the housing authority and other housing non-profits with residential projects that include affordable units. • Coordinates with regional community partners and stakeholders.
