I expanded a business startup from 2002 as a general fitness trainer and nutritional advisor. After completing a few survivals training and search and rescue intense courses and participating in Eco Challenge type multi-discipline type races I applied this knowledge to teach individuals and groups. This involved but not limited to the following, night and day navigation in night and day conditions along with ideal weather conditions including Desert, flood and heavy snow conditions. This training included both the physical, physiological and technical aspects of events in order to survive and finish. All event or survival training was first tested on me to ensure safety and requirements of participants, including all nutritional requirements for each environment. The business included me and two instructors with skills that supplemented my own. Clients were also taken on for more straight forward training for specific events, i.e. Marathons, and ultra-marathons. Clients not interested in understanding the interaction between the mental, physical, and nutriceanal needs along with supplementation were not taken on as clients. Discovered a business need for the small private and city business in need of the following skills that are normally present in large public corporate;•Business development plans to secure additional bank financing for expansion. Utilized models developed for multi-billion dollar businesses in my corporate experience to better explain ROI and feasibility of presented business plans. •Installed computer network systems to allow increase productivity, increase security, allow use of home work on business information, and updated productivity software and trained key super users.•Presented business plans and financial and legal issues to banks as needed.•Worked with owners on translating key business drivers and controls used by multi-billion companies that would be relevant to the smaller entity.

Business and financial partner to three CEO’s of the Lauren, Dress, Childrenswear, Chaps, and American Living Polo brands. Responsibility for the delivery of over 800 million in gross product revenue, in 17 sub-brands through six distinct channels of distribution. Responsible for all new business launch analysis and ROI presentations. Currently lead executive in the corporate wide ERP implementation assigned to ensure business process and technical goals are mutually achieved. Six NYC based direct reports support strategic planning and analysis, while ten divisional accounting and analysis staff support the accounting close and consolidation. Since starting in 2002, designed all forecasting reporting templates currently in use across all business units.

Reported directly to the divisional CEO, with operational responsibility for distribution, human resoures and finance/accounting. Working with the corporate CFO, re-designed the methods of presenting business unit results to more accurately align with business metrics. Controlled the overall financial forecast of the company, serving on the executive committee that determined budgets and developing projections based on data submitted from 17 P&L Divisions. Conducted a due diligence effort, developed business models for company valuation and presented results to CEO and CFO. Led in an expense review initiative to reduce corporate overhead. Analyzed expense base for each Division and the type of expenses each was incurring. Created benchmarks, established a best practice for spending and developed overhead reduction opportunities for each division. Responsible for Corporate-wide retailer margin support. Developed a simple yet effective key business driver metrics system for P&L divisions that facilitated consistent fulfillment of goals. Managed day-to-day forecasting, profit margins of divisions and managed a staff of 5 Vice Presidents, Group Financial Directors and 25 support staff
