Raytheon Northwoods Industrial Building

Superintendent for fast track high security 100,000 sq. ft. industrial buildings with extensive SCIF areas, raised access flooring, and industrial 15 ton crane. This $7 million project was a fast track project that needed to be completed in 11 weeks.

Loudoun Station Phase 1

Successfully managed an 8.5 million dollar development project Phase 1 in Loudoun County VA. Project involved one mile of offsite sanitary sewer that required coordinating with VDOT to cross their four lane road multiple times; excavation of approximately 100,000 yards of dirt, and installation of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water main onsite for future building. In conjunction with sewer and utility installations, a new four-lane road was built and paved where an existing state gravel road existed; work had to be done while keeping the gravel road in use until part of the new road could be finished to allow traffic to flow safely. The new roadway connected to existing paved four-lane road. The two years I worked for Comstock Companies, I saved them close to one million dollars on the development portion of Loudoun Station.

Northern Virginia

Oversight of all Land Development field operations for Comstock Homes' Metro Division. Projects required supervision to ensure contractors abide to contract from clearing to final pavement. I also worked with the installation of wells, septic fields, retaining walls, cofferdams large storm sewer pipe and drainage problems. I was involved with feasibility studies and the bidding process. Supervised multiple million-dollar jobs.

Manassas, Va

Managed and marketed the excavation division of Falcon Development. I was responsible for customer relations including contract negotiations, management and execution of all site activities. I scheduled all manpower to ensure work was completed effectively in a fast paced construction environment.Reversed negative division operational costs and business; produced revenue within 60 days of hire. Turned around a stagnant land development department, which included idol equipment, nonproductive personnel and unstructured billing into a division that consistently maintained profits and production levels.

Leesburg, Va

Managed land development projects from planning phase to customer delivery. Increased profits on jobs managed by producing sites that were deliverable to clients per site specifications and timely delivery. Responsible for daily operations for all of Harrison’s fieldwork and field personnel.

Instrumental in the starting of Elite Homes under Elite Management Company. Involved in all phases of Elite’s residential projects, this included plan reviews, sub-contractor negotiations, on-site supervision and input into future projects.
