Sean is an award-winning music video and commercial director and editor based in Toronto, Canada. His work focuses on powerful visual narratives with strong, diverse characters and colourful, bold aesthetics. Bringing a thoughtful and conscious understanding to each project, he seeks to create memorable and thought provoking work that inspires viewers in a dynamic and honest manner.Outside of directing, Sean’s passion for the arts includes photography, graphic design, and multi-channel audio/video art installations that have been screened at a number of festivals and galleries in North America. Most recently, Tamo Vamo (16mm film installation with audio) was featured at Nuit Blanche (Toronto, 2017).His body of work includes projects with Platinum-selling artists Three Days Grace, Canadian rock band The Sheepdogs, popular EDM artist PLS&TY (ft. Cosmos & Creature, Ganz & Nevve), Juno award-winning band Keys N Krates (ft. Aqui), Brooklyn-based collective Megative, and Grammy-nominee King Henry (ft. Sasha Sloan). Sean has worked closely with a number of production companies (Netflix, Makers, and Vice) on a variety of projects and has directed campaigns for major brands including: Ford, Sport Chek, Canadian Tire, HSBC, and AMEX. He has also collaborated with a number of agencies including Linda & Linda and SID LEE on a variety of projects.He is currently represented for both music videos and commercials in the UK by Cardel (non-exclusive), for music videos in Canada by The Field (non-exclusive), and by Filmsupply for licensing footage.
