Fabbian USA Corp. is pleased to announce that Sleiman Zogheib has joined the organization as Vice President of Sales. Sleiman comes to us with over 18 years of lighting industry experience in a variety of sales management and product management roles as both a manufacturer and manufacturers’ rep over his career. In his new role at Fabbian, “Sly” will be developing the strategic sales plan, managing rep relations, sales personnel and sales support, and coordinating with Italy on market-specific product needs. He will also be working closely with the corporate team on North American marketing and event plans. As Fabbian USA Corp celebrates our 10 year anniversary, we will be growing our investments in the market and look forward to expanding the long-term development of the organization with our agents and channel and business partners.

With an entirely disruptive approach to power and control distribution for lighting and lighting control, Redwood Systems is making lighting and lighting control a platform for building intelligence. In this role, I was responsible for hiring reps, educating specification channels, and developing a sales network of distribution and contractor business partners throughout the US and Canada. Internal to the organization, I am very involved in engineering discussions for product and roadmap development, services offerings and expectations, and internal quotations and support infrastructure. After working for a major lighting controls manufacturer for over 8 years, I moved to a mid-size independent Manufacturer’s Representative Lighting Agency located in South Florida. Lighting Dynamics has consistently performed as one of the top sales agencies in the country for Lutron Electronics and Cooper Lighting over its 18 year history. Our firm is responsible for sales and marketing representation of over 50 manufacturers of lighting and lighting controls. I was promoted to a management position to elevate awareness of commercial lighting control products after growing this category by 50% in my first 18 months of employment. As director, I have hired and managed a project specification team to focus further growth of control products and other emerging technologies.- Launch key initiatives with customers including energy retrofit sales, daylighting control, and LED lighting that have led to extensive new project specifications- Supervise and instruct staff on focused sales strategies and introduction of new products through email marketing, seminars, tradeshows, lunch presentations, and other marketing events- Partner with municipal inspectors to advise on new energy legislation requirements to grow use of our product category region wide- Develop project tracking and other internal systems to coordinate sales efforts to surround all aspects of projects and increase closure rates- Recruit and manage top-performing sales and marketing team in new market channels- Initiate corporate strategies including mission/vision statements, project tracking database, line profitability analysis, revised commission programs, sales coding program, PMR Profiling, corporate rebranding, email campaigns, and new building LEED design that led to greater company visibility and growth in the market- Undertook leadership positions with local non-profit groups and industry associations to brand the company as the regional expert in lighting within their membership
