Monitored operation of process units including Crude Distillation Unit, Naphtha Hydrotreator and Platformer, Propane Recovery Unit, Amine Treatment Unit (ATU), LPG H2S Stripper and Merox (LPG, Naphtha and Kerosene). Investigated operational issues such as low equipment efficiencies, bottlenecks and off-spec product quality that obstructed in meeting production targets. Championed management of change (MOC) process and Process Safety Management Initiatives. Participated in Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and identified gaps in process safety systems. Developed Process Simulation Models to identify optimum process conditions. Performed various process design calculations such as equipment efficiencies, heat and material balances, PSV sizing and line hydraulics. Provided day to day technical support to Plant Operations.
