Give Bangladesh Foundation, a voluntary development organization founded in 2018, offers a unique pathway for Bangladeshi youth to engage in development through philanthropy and volunteering. Designed projects address root problems and modern practices from the development industry, the foundation ensures that charity contributions from individuals and volunteers create positive short-term and long-term impacts on beneficiaries. This organization currently has five projects with an emergency response platform- Project Folon, Project Pothchola, Project Konna, Project Ombu, Project Lorai.I work as a writer for the HQ: Operation Team. My responsibilities include- > Documenting the Give Bangladesh Foundation's projects, campaigns, and other administrative activities.> Creating and compiling the deliverables including newsletters, reports, brochures, and proposals. > Developing modules for better operational efficiency and transparency. > Initiated project piloting on WASH for the students with disabilities. > Participated in the emergency response team when needed.

Integrated Development Programme (IDP) targets areas like haors (wetlands), chars (riverine islands), coastal areas, hill tracts, and plain land indigenous communities. These regions often lack access to basic services and economic opportunities, perpetuating cycles of poverty and marginalization. As part of the Digital Upazila Obhijan (DUO) unit, I am responsible for understanding the challenges faced by these communities and exploring innovative solutions to bridge the development gap. I will be conducting the piloting of the 'Digital Saathi' activity, which is specially designed to address the digital literacy of women and transform them towards empowerment. My other responsibilities include- > Engaging in day-to-day operations of the assigned project. > Exploring IDP fields and collect insights of the operations.> Fostering innovation for IDP initiatives considering the contexts and challenges. > Collaborating with different departments/programmes and field offices. > Preparing reports and presentations as needed. > Developing a research-oriented mindset in solving problems. > Contributing new ideas or concepts to an assigned project or activity. > Supporting team in coordinating meetings, events or field operations. > Coordinating with prgramme/project managers and field officers to facilitate programe initiatives. > Collecting insights from field exposures.> Building rapport with field officers.> Learning the community aspects, finding gaps, challenges and solutions.
