Multiply was a social network, pivoting into an e-commerce marketplace, operating in Indonesia and the Philippines.Managed local teams (50+) in each country.400% growth in GMV and revenue, within $10.5m budget, over the first year.Migrated to new social marketplace platform, with 20% of sales on mobile.Multiply was closed in 2013

As General Manager, I led a major regional expansion: Launched 3 companies across 7 countries:OLX (classifieds), Mocality (business directory) and Kalahari (online retail).Managed $9m budget across the region.Recruited local country teams (100+ in Kenya, Nigeria).Platforms were tailored to local language, custom, and consumers.OLX became market leader in Kenya and Nigeria within 6 months (and remains so in 2019).

Open Rights Group is a UK-based digital campaigning organisation working to protect the rights to privacy and free speech online. With over 3,000 active supporters, it is a grassroots organisation with local groups across the UK.

Upmystreet was a pioneering, and very popular, local statistics and social site, eventually acquired by Zoopla.com.Upmystreet raised £12m investment from News Corporation, Rothschilds in March 2000Led the technology team (30).Led product strategy on the web, mobile, and interactive digital television.

I had overall responsibility for the technical strategy for the Virgin Group web site ( http://www.virgin.com ). During this period, I was also responsible for the strategy, conception and delivery of the Virgin Mobile e-commerce website ( http://www.virginmobile.com ).
