• Identified opportunities for process and control improvements, created Jiras after gathering requirements from stakeholders on business and functional requirements. • Troubleshot and updated reconciliation processes of the synthetic (Alternative) funds including publishing of funds, customized report troubleshooting, fee and dividend schedules. • Established processes on outsourcing work to offshore teams and their training.• Worked with developers and external teams to conduct gap analysis to integrate Finance requirements and updates on external reports resulting in more automated reconciliation processes. • Worked on automation of processes, created Aladdin dashboard unique user BQLs.• Worked on integration/mapping of Alternative fund customized swap reports. BlackRock Aladdin (fixed income processing) platform is set up to receive information via MT950 and MT535s, however more sophisticated financial products have to be represented via customized reporting that in place need to be mapped back to fit into the standard system. • Worked on internal Aladdin programming files for raw data management; and on FTP transfer updates and enhancements. • Reviewed and resolved flows of unmapped 950s and 535s.• Collaborated with internal groups on improving cross processes and standardizations such as tax tables, bullet swaps dividend payments, processing MBS payments. • Worked on various projects: (automating FX trade uploads, terminating accounts, closing out swaps, cleaning up bullet swap dividends).• Participated in portfolio on-boarding, and mapping.
