My father emigrated from Mexico as a child and worked hard to create a healthy home environment for his family. He served as a Marine during the Vietnam War and came home being awarded a Purple Heart. His hard work has afforded his children successful careers as Latino Americans that in turn contribute to our society as teachers and employers. My mom was just as pivotal in my development. She enabled me to dream and try out new things. Entrepreneurship is an ever evolving role that provides new challenges and new wins.
