Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer
CurrentPart of the Executive Committee of HZL, the role requires to build the People Vision for the organization in alignment with the organizational vision.In this role, I am the custodian of Organization Culture & Values and am responsible for the Human Capital needs of the organization as we operate in the core mining sector and aspire to continue to set benchmarks in the global best people practices as we strengthen and sustain HZL as the ‘Employer of Choice’With this clear focus, my agenda is to have the right people (either build internally / source externally) with desired capabilities to deliver the ambitious goals that we set for ourselves. From rethinking the operating model / organization structure, creating a Business Transformation office (to drive focus on ideation, innovation, cost consciousness and rewards thereby generating additional EBITDA value), providing coaching / anchoring / developmental platforms to our leaders, working extensively towards holistic employee wellness as well as eliminating unconscious bias across the organization to further push the agenda of diversity & inclusion and transforming Employee Relations (ER) along with Labor union federation to ensure cordial industrial relations to achieve zero work stoppages, I partner with the business to dream big and work together to achieve it in a sustainable manner.
