Tender Management Team (TMT)

Main responsibility was contracts with World Wide Agents and negotiation of freight rates for cargoes (basically dealing with Far East countries), and for all kind of transport (Sea, Air, Road, Rail, Inland shipping). Responsible to organize the safe movement of goods on behalf of an exporter (10%), importer (90%) or another company or person, using the services of shipping lines, airlines or road and rail freight operators. Researching and planning the most appropriate route for a shipment as per customer requirements, acting as consultant in customs matters. I had my own portfolio of customers.I was one of the first members of this company, as I was there from the start, contributing and helping to build up everything step by step.

Acting initially (the first 6 months), as an assistant in the sales team. Responsible for organizing the canvasser’s department and accordingly I trained in the field of transport operations/ customers follow up. Gradually I developed my own portfolio of customers and handled daily import / export operations (Sea, Air, Road, Rail, Inland shipping) and freight forwarding. I created my own portfolio of customers.

Plenty of activities as I was the sole secretary in a company of 14 people with major responsibilities for the efficient and smooth running of the business.

Customs / General Secretary to Directors of all Departments (Sales, Accounts, GD etc) / Responsible of Company’s image to the press and media.
