Samantha has a genuine interest in helping others which aides in building trust and rapport with clients of all backgrounds. She utilizes a holistic approach because she understands the importance of a client's background, upbringing, environment and past/current relationships to therapy. She enjoys working with clients who are interested in regaining control of their life. Her therapy orientation incorporates trauma informed techniques, mindfulness and stress reduction, CBT and DBT skills, Sandtray and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Samantha has a great passion for bringing hope and healing to others. She understands therapy can be a vulnerable place but takes pride in helping clients find joy and healing in the therapy process. Samantha enjoys working with children as young as 9, teens and adults of all ages. She has clinical experience working with individuals who struggle with complex trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, mood swings, bipolar disorders, adjustment disorders and grief.
