Registered Manager - Care And Support ServicesEnham Trust May 2015 - May 2016Enham Alamein, Hampshire, United KingdomEnham Trust is a charity that works with over 7,500 individuals each year, helping them have increased independence and choice in all areas of their lives. In my role as Registered Manager I was responsible for 3 domiciliary services across Andover, Alton and West Sussex. I was also the Registered Manger for Enham's 3 registered care homes, an after school club for children with learning disabilities, a day opportunities centre, an out reach service in Andover for people with learning disabilities called Launchpad and an Older Persons Day Service. In my role I had 17 staff that reported directly to me across various locations. In my role I had to develop teams and provide support, guidance and direction for all staff that reported directly to me and to the care teams. Other key responsibilities where to grow and develop our domiciliary services by working closely with local authorities and winning private business. It was also essential to make sure that the quality of the service we were providing met with all CQC standards and that care was provided in the most person centred way possible. Across the 3 care homes again it vital to make sure the level of care our residents received was of the highest quality, person centred and meeting all CQC standards. Another area that required a lot of attention was introducing ISF's for all residents and to try and ensure that funding was in place to cover the residents packages. With my role I was also part of the senior management team within Enham Trust and I had full budget responsibility for all areas that I managed. -

The Basingstoke branch was an underperforming branch when I took control. We were providing 2900 hours of domiciliary care a week and in the region of 100 hours of establishment care a week. Through working with the local authority and local CHC's and CCG's we managed to significantly increase the weekly hours we were providing through our domiciliary service. Also through offering a quality service to local care homes and nursing homes we dramatically increased our weekly establishment care hours. Over my two years as the Registered Branch Manager we increased our weekly domiciliary hours to over 4500 and our establishment care hours to nearly 1000 hours per week. -
