Repositioned business model, diversifying revenue sources of $3 million operating budget from time-limited government contracts to earned income and increased philanthropic support, resulting in 2018 program fund balance equal to 5 months’ operating reserve; increased net revenue of annual gala by 260%.Tripled lending volume to $30 million annually, broadening client relationships beyond legacy affordable housing nonprofits, and initiating new business line financing affordable spaces for artists, artisans, and manufacturers that provide middle skill jobs.Developed and launched NYC Inclusive Creative Economy Fund, raising $4.8 million to date from impact investors including high net worth individuals, donor advised funds, family foundations and an endowed arts institution.Secured $2.5 million in new grant resources to innovate programs that built nonprofit partner capacity in diverse areas such as affordable real estate development, commercial corridor revitalization, and public health.Rebranded and significantly increased public profile of the organization, leading to national and local media coverage, increased social media presence, and the production of e-newsletters, publications, and videos.Manage internal and external relationships including a team of 15.5 staff, collaboration across LISC national departments and affiliates, Local Advisory Committee, city and state agencies, funders, peer and client organizations, neighborhood-based nonprofits and other stakeholders.

Developed client relationships and originated transactions across the group’s $500 million grant, loan, and equity portfolios, financing community development financial institutions, community development corporations, low-income housing tax credit funds, and small business investment companies.Led DBAF’s field-building efforts in multi-family energy efficiency, project managing a multi-disciplinary research project linking building science and finance, and supporting the creation of a new nonprofit energy efficiency lending institution.Managed the bank’s New Iniatives Fund, a $15+ million portfolio of philanthropically motivated program-related investments, deployed to national and international social ventures.Designed and implemented $5 million annual grant program strategy across diverse program areas such as affordable housing, economic development, immigrant entrepreneurship, education, arts & community revitalization, food access, and community resiliency.

Breakthrough New York (formerly Summerbridge at The Town School) is an educational enrichment program that prepares motivated public middle school students for college preparatory high schools, and trains high school and college students for careers in education.Initiated endowment and raised all program funding from foundations, corporations, and individuals.Led the creation of the organization, coordinating senior leadership of Summerbridge National, Town School’s administrators and Board of Trustees; chaired advisory board.Performed and oversaw comprehensive organization management, including HR, accounting, finance, and communication.
