About S Mark Tyler

Retired, but volunteering in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. During my working career, was involved in the start up and general management of small businesses ranging from owner/operator to those with nearly 500 team members. Have been actively involved, including an ownership interest in each, in the formation, acquisition, and/or management of sixteen companies over the last forty years. Eight of these enterprises continue to be in operation. I am currently active in five. These enterprises represent over five hundred team members, and include manufacturing, early stage investment, retail, and non-profits.My passion is to identify and build collaborative relationships between businesses, education, public organizations and non-profits. I'm convinced that thinking differently and allowing ourselves to truly collaborate outside of the comfort of our silos, we can create new opportunities and new pathways to prosperity.
