Christopher has a passion for new businesses creation, starting with Data Centre design and build, smart school construction, F&B hospitality and lighting before putting his focus on Smart City IoT solutions. During the early days when LED lamps were developed to replace incandescent lamps in 2006, Christopher founded ECOGREEN with the aim of providing professional LED retrofit solutions to hospitality projects globally. The ECOGREEN brand was recognized for its innovation in technology, quality and high performance. As LED adoption stabilized, he established BEYOND ILLUMINATION in 2015 partnering eldoLED Netherlands to provide LED driving solutions, PHOTIZO GLOBAL in 2016 on smart lamp pole, LUMENHUB in 2018 on architectural façade lighting and PLUS LIGHT TECH (APAC) in 2019 on architectural commercial lighting. The lighting industry evolved very quickly from LED to Smart Lighting in the following years. In 2019, Christopher put his focus on creating value using wireless lighting infrastructure, artificial intelligence and machine learning. He started technology companies with ESAVE Switzerland and WISILICA USA which integrate digitalization and IoT in the creation of secured wireless platform using advanced sensors, wireless communications and data analytics to provide end-to-end solutions to clients. An exciting brand iSENSE was born with full wireless integration and sensor-on-board technology. He strongly believes that lighting forms the base wireless infrastructure for IoT implementation enabling location services, device management, space optimization, remote energy monitoring and maintenance management. Today, Christopher keeps himself abreast in the development and application of technology in the areas of Smart City Solutions. He hopes to use his knowledge to provide a better and sustainable lifestyle encompassing efficiency, productivity, convenience, health and safety to fellow world citizens.
