During school she was able to preserve thousands of acres of recreational land in the WasatchMountains during a fellowship with Friends of Alta, a local community land trust, which inspired herfurther explore a career in real estate.Growing up in Salt Lake City, Utah, Annie was lucky to spend her winters skiing at Alta and summershiking the Wasatch Mountains and exploring the national parks, mountains, and deserts of Utah,Wyoming, and Montana. She also competed in barrel racing and pole bending through high schoolrodeos.She first fell in love with Montana on annual family trips to West Yellowstone. The fresh air, open land,and endless huckleberries called to her, so when she met the love of her life, a Bozeman native, on arafting trip in Idaho in she knew the Gallatin Valley is where they’d soon end up. After college she tooktime to travel to New Zealand and Scotland, raft guide in Glacier and ski instruct in Big Sky beforemoving to Belgrade in 2017 and getting married in 2021. Annie, her husband Ross, and their pup Lunaalso enjoy rafting our local rivers, skiing at Bridger Bowl, and hiking and painting throughout the west.
