I spent the most time as an entrepreneur in the business development and international marketing for the first part of his business life. I lived a few different countries UK, New Zealand, China for more than 15 years. I was the co-founder of ModernAge Institue of Learning in New Zealand in 1998. The college has nation-wide campuses, international branches and alliance campuses with 400 staff members and 2,000 international students from many different countries and the majority student were Chinese. The school were the largest private college in New Zealand. We delivered ESOL, TESOL, Computer Studies and University foundation course. The school was a first approved centre A-Level testing centre by Cambridge University in the country. After I left school, I founded SATMARK in 2006 and develops the unique automatic portable satellite antenna which was the significant shift for me form the education business field to high tech business. It was pure luck! I developed the product together with FOXTEL the largest Australian satellite broadcast service provider. We spent enormous energy on the product development, three years after we could finish the development of the product. The product invited 'The technical summit Sydney 2009' by the News Corp Group. Next year, successfully launched the European motorhome and caravan market. The development of new technology is the challenge, and it was even more challenging to create the market for the new product. It took my enormous energy and passion for developing the product from scratch, but it was a right learning curve through my whole life.The new startup SMARTSAT founded 2016, is the more R&D orientated company who is developing VSAT technologies for a backup satellite communication system when the natural or human disaster situation. We are also developing the solution for aircraft in-flight wi-fi technology. Our co-partner is Sogang University who is the one of the high-ranked University in South Korea.
